The Slam Years is a 10/10 Album Title
One thing sampling music exposes you to is genres and songs you would’ve never listened to. I feel like that’s obvious, but it’s rare for me to like something enough to throw it on a playlist. Don’t get me wrong, I love what I sample, but sampling is listening to identify interesting moments. Not necessarily listening to enjoy. I don’t even think I ended up sampling this one, tbh. But the vibe Hamid Al Shaeri creates on this track can only be described as “immaculately chill.” This song makes me feel like I’m on a beach somewhere in Europe drinking wine with my friends. Because of that, I think you should consider it for your playlist.
